February Minecraft School Challenge

Join 2021 Minecraft Education Challenge to Build a New School!!! 

 

Design a new school for your community in Minecraft, keep in mind the local culture and ecosystem as well as the needs of the different types of people that will be learning there.  

This challenge is open to all Liberty Elementary students. You must use the Minecraft: Education Edition to create your school.  

 

How to Participate in the Challenge: 

    • Open a new world using either a template world or biome world.
    •  Work on your challenge submission and design a new school for Liberty students using blocks and items in Minecraft Education Edition.
    • Use creative world.
    •  Once you are ready to submit, each student (or team) should use Flipgrid to create a video touring their Minecraft school, with a voiceover  explaining their project.
    • Submit your project with a 1-minute Flipgrid screen recording. (Ask teacher for link.)
    • Leave the grade level and full name of all participants.

Challenge opens: February 1, 2021 

Submissions due: February 28, 2021
No late submissions will be accepted.

 

More Information: 

You may work on your Liberty School with a team of students by using the multiplayer feature on Minecraft: Education Edition. 
There will be prizes.  

Winners will be announced in March.  
We will have a drop in session over vacation to help students.
